Chevron Utensil Pocket

Thanks to beautiful burlap, this easy-to-make utensil holder adds a rustic touch to the tabletop.

Tools & Materials:

  • Paint brush
  • Painter's tape
  • Fabric glue or sewing machine
  • Burlap

Step-By-Step Instructions:

  1. Cut two pieces of burlap: one 3 inches by 4 inches, the other 3 inches by six inches.
  2. Glue or sew together the two pieces of burlap to form a pocket.
  3. Using the tape, make a chevron pattern on top of one side; paint over the tape.
  4. Embellish each with a name tag for a personal touch.
