Decorating with Green
Reminiscent of freshly cut grass, green is one of our favorite colors to decorate with. It's preppy, cheerful and surprisingly versatile – here are three tips for making it work in your space.
Pair it with pink
The warmth of pink is the perfect balance to green's slightly cool undertones. Layer soft shades of both in bedding and decor, or go bold and make a colorful statement.
Offset it with yellow
Pale yellow offers just enough contrast to create a balance, but also recedes to let the brightness of green shine.
Set a neutral foundation
Because green is such a dominant color, try keeping the room's foundation more simple. A neutral rug, for example, provides a nice backdrop that doesn't compete.
