Turkey Table Toppers

Turn a regular loaf of bread into the life of the party with these simple homemade toppers. With so many fun and creative ways to decorate the feathers, your kids will love to help out.

Tools and Materials

  • Skewers
  • Construction paper in your choice of colors
  • Scissors
  • Crayons
  • Glue
  • Stickers, confetti, or anything else you want to use for decoration.

How to Assemble the Feathers

1. Cut construction paper into the shape of a feather.

2. Decorate each feather using crayons, other pieces of paper, confetti or whatever else you choose.

3. Glue a skewer to the back of the decorated feather.

4. Insert skewers into the top of the bread loaf, arranging feathers to look like a turkey's tail.
