How to Throw an Easter Party
How To:

Plan a Memorable
Easter Celebration

Creating an extra-special kids' table for your Easter celebration will make the day more fun for everyone. Easter's themes of flower-blossom colors and friendly woodland creatures make it easy to bring a sense of spring to the table and the festivities. Here are seven great ideas to help make your celebration memorable.

Let nature be your guide. Flowers, bunnies and baby chicks, and birds and butterflies all make great elements in your linens and festive tableware. Add even more life to your setup by bringing in real greenery, too – vines, flower bouquets and a generous helping of potted plants will make it feel like a secret garden no matter where you are.

Create a fun, seasonal centerpiece. A tiered centerpiece is a practical, playful and polished way to display your finished egg designs. For something a little simpler, try a bowl filled with colorful eggs or treats.

Give each child their own special place at the table. Personalized chair backers are a great way to designate a seat for every guest (plus, they're a convenient place to tuck a couple of small treats or favors). Or use place cards tucked into our easy-to-make Bunny Tail Place Card Holders to bring a little special charm to each place setting.

Keep kids in mind when you're planning the menu. Make sure it's simple. Our tasty, healthy Hummus Pots are easy to make and fun to present. Fresh fruit, deviled eggs and finger sandwiches also tend to be a hit with kids – and finish it off with a sweet and special surprise, such as our Bunny Tail Lemon Cupcakes.

Go all out with a seasonal tabletop collection. Linens, plates and placemats that are alive with an Easter theme will bring a smile to kids' faces -- and you (and your children) will love pulling them out for celebrations year after year.

Prepare an egg hunt. Plan treat containers for the kids to carry eggs in. Make sure to schedule time to hide eggs and treats before guests arrive.

Keep kids entertained with a craft. With our simple egg-decorating activity, even little hands can create fun designs. If possible, set up a separate area where craft projects can take place.
