Yarn Ball Ice Cream Cones
String these decorations together to create a colorful garland, or use them as centerpieces on your party table. Whatever you decide to do with them, they're sure to add sweet style to the party.
Tools and Materials
- 2.5" Styrofoam balls (one per "scoop")
- Colored yarn
- Printable "Yum" ice cream cone embellishments
- Ice cream cones
- Green floral wire
- Red gum balls
- Hot glue gun
- Wire cutter

Step by Step Instructions
1. Create a yarn ball "ice cream scoop" by wrapping yarn around a 2.5" styrofoam ball to desired thickness. (View the detailed tutorial here.)
2. Create the "cherry on top" by cutting a small piece of floral wire for the "stem" and bending the top slightly with your fingers. Hot glue the "stem" to a red gum ball, then hot glue the finished "cherry" to the top of the yarn ball.
3. Add hot glue to the inside edges of the ice cream cone, then press the yarn ball on top to secure.
4. Embellish the rim of the ice cream cone with the "YUM" printables.
