Why This Room Works

In a nursery for a twin boy and girl, we started with white walls and furniture, and then chose crib bedding in two colors with personalized quilts. Rugs that coordinate with the bedding add a layer of softness to the floor. We mounted wood initials on colored paper to complement each crib.
