Handwoven from natural jute and soft wool, our bordered flatweave rug adds subtle definition and a layer of natural texture to their space. The jute’s natural shading makes each rug unique, and the durable weave feels smooth underfoot.

DETAILS THAT MATTER

• Handwoven flat weave of 100% natural jute and yarn-dyed wool in India. This product celebrates and preserves artisan handcraft traditions around the world.
• Rug is yarn-dyed. Fibres are treated individually with environmentally safe dyes before weaving to offer vibrant, lasting colours.
• Non-slip backing is made of recycled Grey canvas fabric with odorless synthetic latex adhesive, which makes it non-slip for added safety. The synthetic latex provides a more durable and flexible backing that reduces odor and extends the rug’s life; it does not present a risk to those with latex allergies, nor does it dry out or break down over time.
• Rug has self-bound edges that resists curling and maintains its shape.
• Use with our Rug Pad (sold separately).

CARE

• Vacuum regularly using vacuum cleaner without a beater brush and a low power setting, to prevent debris from settling into the roots of the fibres.
• Do not pool loose ends. Clip them with scissors to remove.
• Attend to spills immediately. For spot cleaning, apply water in very small amount; do not saturate. If applying cleaning solvent, test in a small inconspicuous area before using.
• For general maintenance or stubborn stains, use an experienced cleaning service that specializes in hand made rug.
• Do not dry clean. Harsh chemicals may damage or fade rugs.
• We recommend using a rug pad.
• Rotate or reposition your rug every 3-6 months to promote even wear on the rug surface and extend the life of the rug.

Standard Parcel Shipping with Front Door Delivery

Smaller items are shipped using our Standard Parcel service, and delivered by Canada Post or Purolator. Items ordered together may not arrive in the same box. If your package cannot be delivered, you will receive a notice from the carrier with pick-up instructions or re-delivery options.

Unlimited Flat Rate Shipping with In-Home Delivery & Assembly

An unlimited number of eligible furniture items can be delivered for a single flat rate, per shipping address. These items will be delivered by our In-Home Delivery & Assembly service provider where items are brought into your home, unpacked and assembled (some exclusions apply) and the packaging is responsibly removed.

Eligible items can be exchanged for a refund of the merchandise value within 30 days of receiving an order or 7 days for Quick Ship upholstery items.
