Clean lines and timeless styling makes our Elsie Collection as versatile as it is beautiful. Featuring beautifully detailed grooves on the legs with plenty room for storage and studying, this desk is an elegant space-saving addition to their room. Expertly crafted from sturdy wood with a water-based, multi-step finish, it’s built to last for years.

HOW IT IS CONSTRUCTED

Crafted of solid poplar wood, beechwood, veneers, engineered wood and MDF (medium density fibreboard).

Drawers feature English dovetail joinery and solid beech wood glides which ensure smooth motion. Sturdy half-moon safety stops keep drawers securely in place.

The use of veneers results in high-quality furniture with flawless surfaces and consistent colour tones.

All wood is kiln-dried, a process that ensures that the furniture will never split, warp, crack or mildew.

Finish is applied in multi-step process using child-safe, water-based paint in our Simply White. The paint provides durability, richness and depth of colour to each piece.

Hutch (sold separately) is equipped with one shelf, three cubbies and a cutout for routing cords.

Standard Parcel Shipping with Front Door Delivery

Smaller items are shipped using our Standard Parcel service, and delivered by Canada Post or Purolator. Items ordered together may not arrive in the same box. If your package cannot be delivered, you will receive a notice from the carrier with pick-up instructions or re-delivery options.

Unlimited Flat Rate Shipping with In-Home Delivery & Assembly

An unlimited number of eligible furniture items can be delivered for a single flat rate, per shipping address. These items will be delivered by our In-Home Delivery & Assembly service provider where items are brought into your home, unpacked and assembled (some exclusions apply) and the packaging is responsibly removed.

Eligible items will show "Unlimited Flat Rate Delivery" on the product page.

Eligible items can be exchanged for a refund of the merchandise value within 30 days of receiving an order or 7 days for Quick Ship upholstery items.

We stand by each product and test in our name for accountability. We use accredited 3rd party labs nominated and regulated by the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission). Our partners test everything in the box, including labels, packaging and materials to ensure product safety compliance.
